Sunday Ministries
Our Town Preschool
(Ages Birth through Pre-K 4)
Each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., preschoolers are invited to join us for engaging Bible activities that are specifically designed for their age group. Caring leaders will help your child learn about God through hands-on activities, crafts, Bible stories, and music. Each week your child will discover…
- God Made Me.
- God Loves Me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Our Town Kids
(Kindergarten through 4thGrade)
We believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Each Sunday, kids in Kindergarten – 4thgrade, experience the Bible during both large group worship and small group time. Through music, games, and Bible teaching, kids will see how God’s Word fits into their everyday lives. Each week, your child will learn that we have one priority:
To Love God
“‘. . . with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
WANT A WAY TO KNOW WHAT YOUR CHILD IS LEARNING ON SUNDAYS?
The Parent Cue App helps you, as a parent, follow along with what your child is learning. It’s designed to help you do something simple each week to help your child develop a relationship with Jesus. Maximize your time – in the car, at the dinner table, before bedtime – and ask questions that help lead to simple faith conversations.
Download the app, search for “SonRise Baptist Church,” and continue the conversation today!

AWANA
(Infants through 4thGrade)
Awana Clubs International is an evangelical ministry that provides Bible-based evangelism and graded discipleship resources for children and teens ages 2–18. The name Awana is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” which comes from their key verse: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV). The goal of Awana is to “reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world” by making one disciple at a time.
